Selection of a Surface Treatment

Magnet materials may be utilized without coating in low vacuum conditions, but under high vacuum conditions, pressures lower than 10-3 Torr, surface treatment should be considered. Metallic surface treatments are the most desirable, since polymer coatings will outgass, however, our bonded magnet has been tested and found to meet standards considered very good for space applications.

Star Magnet offers the following types of surface treatments that are vacuum compatible:

Nickel Plate

Cadmium Chromate

Aluminum Chromate plate

Highlights:

1. Counter sunk holes tolerance control:

(1). During the process of grinding and cuting, controlled by high precise machines.

(2). after plated, we will check the magnet tolerance as per drawings based on AQL standard.

2. Non-magnetism protective package:

(step 1). sorting the defect product after magnetized

(step 2). check the total quantity as per client order, and packed one by one with good spacer.

(step 3). Vaccum packing based on magnet size and inner box

(step 4). Inner box packing and put the shipping label on the inner box

(step 5). Foam protection packing, and then iron packaging to finish the Non-magnetism protection

(step 6). Exporting carton with table tie and then pallet, post magnet Grade, size, quantities or special requirements
